I decided to go with a 4 inch fender exit exhaust....

So that meant relocating the battery, tray, and mount had to be cut off, and the ECM had to be relocated as well.

Cut the hole, not gonna lie... it was a little nerv racking lol

Finished product with the carob fiber trim ring

Ok, now it was time to get the manifold moched up and mounted.

This was one of the prototypes and the one we ended up using. Talk about some ******* tight space!

Pretty much all done here.

And there it is all done and mounted. Turbo installed as well. Fits under the hood as well with plenty of room.

Another shot of everything mounted. Dont mind all the junk piled on the car... it was a long day lol Still have to run the crossover from the other manifold to this side underneath the manifold. Also gotta fit that big turbosmart 60mm wastegate in there. Tomorrows project!

Here's a shot of the drivers side manifold.

I cut a little of the front bumper out behind the removable filler plate. Trying to decide if i should cut that whole section out or buy the $250 ram Cf ram air plate. What do you guys think?

Just getting an idea of how it will look :-)

One more shot. Lots of room after lowering the radiator.

Done for the night. Back at it tomorrow!!

Charge piping from turbo down...

And through the side to the intercooler

Brad welding up the pipe to the intercooler and welding the bov flange on.

Charge piping done. Just need a 4 to 3 inch couple for the throttle body. Tomorrow we will tackle the crossover.

Mmmmm

Wow this build is sick, I guess a turbo vette doesn't typically come to mind for me so love seeing this!

I gotta say, I normally hate bumper and fender exit downpipes but that looks SICK for some reason. Nice job all the way around!

Absolutely love the build. Is that a treadstone IC? Could you have run any sort of exhaust to the rear of the car?

Catch can is done! Is it a bit much? Maaaaybe lol but i love it!

Finished relocating my PCM. Messing with that wiring was a PITA... Made a little bracket for.mounting it to the firewall and then added a DEI 2000° heatshield blanket to keep it cool.

Crossover is completely done now. I started making the downpipe but got super tired so it will get finished tomorrow. The wastegate will also be done tomorrow.

Wrapped the crossover in some titainium wrap. This is NOT the downpipe lol it just happens to be sittinf there. The kit should be done tomorrow! Then we willnjuat have little stuff to do.

In for updates. Building a similar set up with a procharger. I was hoping to shoot for closer to 600whp. Wasnt too sure the stock bottom end would hold much more.

I've never owned a c5 so I have no clue but would there be enough room for a downpipe like that out the driver's side as well? Obviously not a 5" dp but maybe like a 3"?
