I have two glides I've ran, one stock case Mark Micke built one and a reid case built by a local guy, both 1.80 gears. It went the 8.3 last year on the stock case glide.

Little off topic, but what rear wheel/tire combo do you run?

How are you getting a 29.5" tire in the wheel opening? (Front to back) It doesn't look like it's cut or anything... but I could be wrong.

In prior posts he mentioned it was mini tubbed. That's how. :-)

Mini tubs have nothing to do with the wheel opening in front of and behind the tire. Wheel tubs only open up the area "behind" the wheel opening lip. Trust on on this I have 3 Mustang coupes and two of them are "mini tubed."

I understand how it works. Their is plenty of room height wise for a 29.5 tire inside the body work. His tire is completely tucked inside the body panels because of the mini tub, which is why you see nothing cut on the body/fender.

What do you feel the 29.5 tire would rub on?

Height has nothing to do with it. If you don't put the tire with that OD it will rub the front or rear lip of the wheel opening on the body of the car. I tried it with a 315 DR... No go unless I stuck it so deep into the tub behind the lip it looked silly. That's why I'm asking the owner of the car what he did...

It has been cut, you can't even get it bolted on without cutting. I still need to clearance a little more for the growth.

Thanks. Who ever cut it did a great job. You can't tell it at all from the pics. Nice car for sure and it really works on the street. Congrats!!!

Been awhile since an update so here goes...

Got the car running, had issues with the oil pan so switched to a moroso oil pan and it works great, highly recommend them.

Rear mount radiator setup is working great also as is the a2w intercooler. I haven't even turned on the two 120lb injectors in the charge pipe yet.

Dual fuel system is working great, very nice to drive around on some qt91 for now(will switch to 87 once I get more passes on it and tune dialed in perfect).

Car is dirty, but here is how the stance looks...

With the 275/60 mud and snow street tires on it...

Scaled the car and its 3480 with me in it and all fuel/water, not light thats for sure.

Here's one of our first test hits with it on asphalt and as you can see no real burnout or prep

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBeS...ature=youtu.be

First weekend out racing with the car and we won mini cash days! We had other issues, but got it together and headed to the mini cash days race put on by 1320video, 24 car field, heads up on the street. Cars driven to the race spots and between them, running mostly on asphalt roads, no prepped streets. It was one of my favorite races last year, especially since we won it last year also. The final 3 races I had to run back to back to back, 3 passes in 12 minutes!

Running BeaterBomb...

Still need to get more test hits done and a few things changed, but so far on the street the car is working VERY well this year.

Friday night a certain famous yellow mustang from down south was racing in mini cash days also, I tried setting up a side bet/race with him, but we couldn't get it done since it started raining late Friday night. I was REALLY looking forward to that race.
