Default Help with truck intake

How can I plug these holes?

Will these caps hold up while under boost?

Will the sensor blow out with the one tab broken? can it be replaced?

What is this for and will I need to eliminate it?

I made alum plates and JB welded them over some, just used rubber plugs on the nipples, did not use the rear sensor or the stock rails, the fuel lines for them not great if running much boost...

Did you go speed density? Sounds like if you go speed density the MAP sensor isn't needed. As far as the fuel rails I'm thinking around 7-10 LB boost, is that to much for the stock rails? Thanks for the help!

We have run 16 psi with stock rails and reg. The point I had to switch wasn't the rail but the return size wasn't big enough for the new fuel pump (wouldn't return enough to lower pressure, even just to base 58psi). a 255 pump and meth injection is what we had when it worked fine, just FYI.

good luck.

Thanks for the input, but now I'm concerned. Rick's talked me into the 400 LPH pump and told me to put -6 line for the supply and return. Hope that small section of 5/16" return won't cause me to get aftermarket fuel rails.

the last one you posted is egr. i used a freeze plug, but im not boosted. you can buy bolt in block offs.

if you got a later manifold, most of the stuff you want to block off will already be blocked off from the factory.

Use freeze plugs to block off the larger holes. The covers on the nipples will likely blow off, so throw a zip tie on em for good measure.

the top pic the hole on top just behind the t.b. I tapped that and screwed my iat in there.

the second pic I left the factory plug there

the third port I hooked to my 3 bar map and mounted the map next to it.

the pvc connection I hooked to a pcv in the left valve cover and a large breather in the right.

im sure you can tap the factory map hole and use a pipe plug.

I didn't have the egr hole.

by the time I hooked up my iat,3 bar map, trans vacuum hose, wastegate hose and pcv I used them all but 1 the factory map hole.

I'm non-boosted on my truck manifold setup but I'm using a returnless system, so I just left the stock regulator in place with no vacuum line attached and plugged the return line. Holding 63+ psi of fuel pressure with no leaks. Also freeze plugged the big holes. Also using car injectors.
