I pulled the motor over the winter and wanted to change few things. Put callies compstar rods, wiseco pistons, custom cam from lil johns motorsport solutions and a 8.65 crank pulley with the 4.50 pulley pulley.

My goal is to go 8.8s or 8.9s on straight pump gas with 16psi

god forbid you remove even the slightest amount of weight it could go 70's. Record as far as I know is 8.92 with a th400 and 347. 3,450 lbs.

I went a track rental sunday for some test passes. I didn't get the times I was looking for but did get a good picture.

Maybe the friction off of the rear bumper is slowing you down.

I made some changes to the car. Still a 370 but I changed all most all of the parts that bolt to the block. Now it made 790rwhp 657rwtq on pump gas 18psi
New parts
Trick Flow 235 heads
Holley Hi Ram
New LJMS Cam
ARH 2inch Headers
Dan Schoneck cog setup
Chiseled Performance 1300hp air to air intercooler

What tensioner or blower bracket do you have and what is your exhaust set up.

With a good belt the psi always stayed the same but there was some belt slip. I have been thinking about a bigger blower

The bracket setup is made so you can take the belt or pulleys off with out taking the blower off.

I was thinking your radiator was going to be moved way up. I'd like to see underneath to get a better idea of fitment if u can.

Its mounts the blower in the same location as the aster bracket didn't have to change my intercooler piping
