I think On3 offers a 60mm. I would think twin 60's would spool and work much better on a 4.8.

I love the malibus so will be a nice set up. I have my Ls 2 step for sale cheap if u are interested pm me.

I never saw them, all I saw was the 67 ball bearing version. I dont think a pair of 60mm's are capable of 900 to the tire and if they are you will be pushing them.

Only issue I could see having is spool issues but thats nothing a trans brake, cam, 2 step and converter restall if needed cant take care of!

Huh? Or I can do a s500 and go 4.50's? Lol these motors can only handke so much power and 900 to 1000 is about the limit. That power and my race weight wont run a 5.0

Will be cool to see 4.8s are my favorite and I fill they can take the most abuse stock...I don't see why it won't go 5.50 the turbos will be good for 1000+rwhp there's really no limit just keep pushing boost to it and good luck

Billet S476/92/1.10 would be my choice. Next up would be a cast S475/83/1.25.

If these take a **** on me or dont come into boost fast enough ill probly look into tc66/65's or see if on3 has a pair of journal 67's. I really like the precision 6262's but im affraid of their reputation Lately. Someone said the on3 67's have turbonetic internals with just a different housing?

Yea I agree. I plan to rotate 4.8 or 5.3's, whichever I can find and just swap over all the parts. This motor has the new rods so it should do a little better.

I dont think those 61's will make 1k to the wheels. These on3 compressor wheels are not the most efficient out there.

The On3 61s rated up to 900hp

Which is flywheel im sure. 900 flywheel is more like 775-800rwhp.

Did they tell you 1100 at "25psi"? How do you even calculate hp at a specific boost level without knowing the combo? 408ci coukd take 15psi to make 1100 where a 4.8 might take 28psi...

Keep in mind that is per turbo so the 61's will net your goal. SO 900HP FLYWHEEL PER TURBO

I dont see a 61 on3 making 900 flywheel hp. Its not mathmatically possible based upon the airflow produced by that turbo. I think a pair of BW s300's with a 66 wheel in it would be a better option. Trying to go 5.50's is going to require much more than the little on3 turbos can produce. Not knocking them as they have a place in the budget mided cars, or lower power levels, but budget and 5.50's dont even go in the same paragraph.

You beat me to it. The 70s make 600 to the wheels n how are the 61's gonna make 900? Impossible.

But on it going 5.50s I would haft to disagree. Them being ebay turbos is irrelevant as long as they put out the power. Wicked69 just went 5.9x and he is almost 4000lbs. If he drops 900lbs he will be close and I dont think his 60" is anything crazy. I also think a 4.8/5.3 will take full advantage of those 65mm turbines.

If these turbos dont do it which I know wont be the case I will likely move to a pair of tc66's... snaller compressor but better compressor technology.
