Yes that's how mine is. Be careful of how cyl2 exhaust meets the manifold flow, try make a bit of a transition for it, instead if a 90* joint.
Sorry no pic if mine yet

I'll work the transition with the die grinder a bit after its welded. Not a whole lot can be done with it though.

Here is a pair LS1Nova did, these are nice

Welding looks fine to me!
I see how you made the transition better than a 90.
Thanks for the pics.
Front and rear motor plates?

Drove over to Columbia river today and picked up my hotside parts. Also got the T6 flange and turbine output clamp and stub in the mail.

Tacked the section on the drive side manifold and checked the Vband location on both. Pass side is going to need a little mod to the frame to clear the clamp.

Was interesting to find out that the Vband collar slips over the pipe,

My manifold stubs are 2.5". In the photo below are the reducers to get to 2.25"

In this photo you will see the challenge of mounting this rather huge turbo:

My car has a full cage and the front bar is in the way. I might have to modify it.

I sure don't see any room for an air filter....

Id do whatever it takes to get room for a filter or cobrahead elbow and filter.

Slide the vband flanges over the pipe a little so they locate themselves when put together.

Nate, I do have pipes welded to the manifolds as can be seen in the pictures. Those will be easy.
The struggle is the turbo placement. It's so f'n big I can't get it back far enough to fit an air filter. I'll cut the core support, but as you know the grill is not very far in front of it.

I have some Pontiac G8 manifolds, and turned upside down the flange just might let me mount the turbo directly on with some creative fab of course.

Ah the struggles of turbo-boy! :-)

Alan, thanks. I will make this as sano as I can.

I think with a little work you might be able to bring that pipe back between the two waterneaks and gain some room

i cut out the brace between the cross members and ran the crossover under the balancer. I had to do asmall notch on the drivers side for the crossover to run tight enough to clear the alt belt. The electric w/p allows it to be so tight
it is tight on pass head, I am moving turbo forward 1.5" now that I am re doing it all to fit the motor plate

Nothing wrong with yours Yenkomike

You guys have your turbos mounted up above the front control arm, correct?
What turbos are these? What is to braced to?
This tank weighs 50 pounds, it's not going to hang off the exh system.
Camaro is much different in front than a flat faced Nova.

I cut and moved the roll cage tube. Shortened the turbo mount. Now I have maybe 2" in front of the turbo. There is no way any sort of air filter, or even an elbow is going to fit there. Another 2" to the grille.

I'm in a quandary now.

Looked at the G8 manifold idea, that creates a whole new set of problems.

Crap!

Ron, I have my turbo hanging off the cyl head with some angle iron and that flange you bought. Just have to deal with the heater hose outlets.

mine is back about even with the pass cylinder head by moving it back as far as I could and twisting it a little I got about 9 1/2 inches to radiator support and it also pointed the downpipe a little better.my turbo is not as big as that though tc-78

A screen on the compressor inlet is not an option?
