Default Turbo guru's - I could use your wisdom please

So Im building a turbo'd 67 Camaro
originally I was going to turbo a 5.3/4l80 so i bought a S475 75/83 1.10 AR T-6

Well then a 6.0 basically fell into my lap - So Im going to upgrade to a S480

I found a guy selling a front mount header setup for an LS that was 100% complete. So to save myself some headaches I purchased it - it came with a Borg Warner S472

NOW: I honestly don't know much about turbo systems and this is my first venture into them. Since i bought the S475 new I know what it is, whats inside it, and what I would hope to get back out of it.
The S472 - Well that's where I could use your help - that's all I know about it.

Im going to post some pictures to see if it can help
the first are picture of the S472 in question - the final picture is next to the s475 - only difference I can tell ( other then the casting numbers ) is the s472 seems to be polished as were the S475 is more of a cast appearance.

The 472 has a slightly smaller compressor wheel. Chances are, all 3 of these turbos will make enough horsepower to make you satisfied.

When I look at websites that have the Borg Warner turbos they seem to have a ton of different internals.
The s475 above is one of the smaller ones ,they make several and have different housings ect..
I was kinda hoping someone would know from the casting numbers or housing what it might be/contain

What are the A/Rs on the housings?

The 72, 75, and 80 on the turbos are the sizes of the compressor wheels. The larger the number, the more power potential.

This looks like a G in a design ?
These are all the identifying marks I can find on the turbo.

do you have calipers? if so take the turbine housing off and measure the wheel. measure inducer and exducer. the inducer is going to be the larger side and exducer is the smaller side. borg warner turbines are always posted as the inducer side. example, your s475 will have a 83mm turbine inducer and the exducer will be smaller. from the first pic it looks like that 132 could be the ar size in that case its most likely the 96mm wheel. compared to your 475 the housing looks smaller though. is the 472 a t4 housing? or is that picture just deceiving?

I bet my dad has some at his shop - ill see if I can't snag them this week and get some measurements - thx for that I hadn't thought of it.

It's a T6 flange - both of them are identical

To me the housing looks a little smaller too on the S472 - but its smoothed where the S475 has a rough cast

Look at the inside of the inlet on the turbine housings for A/R markings. Most people don't think to look in there.

I was able to contact the gentleman I bought it from - He bought it from a speed shop in Alabama that said it was a upgraded housing and a 96mm wheel.
They guy that had this had it on a 5.3 turbo header setup making 1050 hp with this turbo.

Any idea what this would be worth?
