What size injectors? running rich
So, I finally got my project running and it is running really rich. I am being told that I am running too large of injectors. I am currently running Siemens 80lbs. Any suggestions on what size I should be running?
Here is my build.
stock LS1 346
Turbonetics 7868 .96 a/r
ported 317 heads
Comp 918 springs
Vic Jr Intake with rails
Felpro 0.055 gaskets
225/235 .620/.610 114+6 cam
stock pushrods
NGK TR6 plugs
D585 truck coils
Aeromotive A1000/ Aermotive Regulator
91 octane

I had a mail order tune done with all these parts listed with the hope of having it run decent enough until I could take it to be dyno tuned. I used a well-known, reputable tuner on this forum that will remain nameless so there is no public bashing.
What is my next step since I can't really drive it cross states to the tuner right now?

send it back to who ever it is to have them re-calibrate it, just tell him he needs to pull some fuel out of the tune. If you have the A/F ratio give it to him so he has a stating point.

get a better mail order tune.
But dont forget....mail order tunes also heavily rely on you supplying the correct information, and the mechanical setup being right too.

have them check all the injector settings in the tune. it may be a simple matter of lowering a few tables regarding the min pulsewidth and default pulsewidth...etc.
something else to consider is the performance or operation of that particular injector. Find anything you can on it for data or lowest pulsewidth/short pulse, etc. data log the car from someone around and see where you stand.
