Default Do I need a restrictor on a GT45???

I feel so lost right now.. I have a ebay 69mm GT45 on a rear mount t application . I'm using a -4an feed line from the oil block off plate. Do I. Ed a restrictor or no? This is what I ordered on ebay last month dumb founding not knowing it's for BY turbos. I was thinking I can maybe just drill it out? Can someone please point me in the right direction. This is what I have installed on the turbo. I'm trying to have the turbo installed by tomorrow!!

i always run approximately .080 sized restrict or on all my turbo setups, mostly so the drain does not have to work as hard.

i have been using -6 drains lately 3/8th hose with no issue, simply because there isnt a ton of oil going into the turbo.

thats the same style feed i use
.040 is pretty small usually people say ball bearing likes that .035 size.

but, i have also welded steel fittings shut and drilled some pretty small holes in them with great success also haha.

Thank you man! I was desperately trying to get in contact with you. So would it be safe to drill it out a tad? Do you know what size bit I would need? My turbo is being used in a mid mount application. So I'm using a scavenge pump if that matters. I have the Chinese ebay GT45 69mm

you've done the hard part with your build. now just take your drill bits and do the math. a 3/32 drill bit is .09375... as an example. (3 divided by 32)

I ended up drilling it with a 5/64. Works great!
