Prepping the LS1 bottom end for FI..
So, the other day, I'm driving home from a date with the wife talking about "the next project" (I'm currently resto-modding a 1966 Bronco), you know, just sorta day dreaming when the wife looks at me and says:
"Why don't you put a supercharger on the Trans Am?"
Ok, so I've been thinking about it.. I'm currently just running a heads/cam car, but I'm thinking now, about throwing a Procharger on it.. May research a turbo as well, but this is really the beginning of some serious research..
What is needed to prepare the bottom end for FI? I understand I'll need a new transmission and rearend evenutally. Sooner rather than later most likely. I've almost swapped my 60e for an 80e, anyway..
What do I need to look at to get the bottom end ready?

There are some around the hp level using e85 or meth on a stock short block.
If you want to build it all you need are forged rods and piston, you can use the stock crank. Get arp head studs, ls9 head gaskets.
