I am thinking same thing either a f1-a or f1-x the hat clearance is my main concern

You can get a f1x on with cog set up but going to cut up stuff for fitment.
A f1a fits good don't have to move radiator or anything.

I have the f1a stock radiator and ati1300 front mount cooler no issues.
But I'm probably going to move radiator to make more room for filter.

nice to know badss......i was planning to stand up my rad etc. anyway......i found a bracket that would mount up to a f2 for fbodys but i can't find the site info.

Biggest issue with the F1X is getting air to the blower. I've seen a couple people mounting them up high on the passenger side like the corvettes do, which is a much better location.

Not sure standing up the radiator will get you much room at all since it's not really moving the bottom of the radiator forward.

hmmm.....thanks for that insight, i've never thought about it that way.

Sorry I meant up and forward for radiator have plenty of since since no ac in car.

only way I have ever seen was x275 cars and their crank driven setups. only way you could feed the blower enough air is air thru the bump IMO. but that's racecar ****
