Default New turbo set up help cross over pipe size

I'm changing my set
5.3 stock 706 heads
Z06 cam
Gt45 ebay turbo
4l80e tranny
373 gears
3680# car

My new set up
L33 5.3
Custom cam
S475 96mm 1.34 ar
4l80e
3600 stall 373 gears

My question is my hot side is 2.75 from manifold to the turbo if I make a new hot side with 2" pipe would it help spool the s475 better I drag race my car a lot and street drive it to it has a/c and all I race 1/8 mile car runs 6.38 et now going to try to put it in the 5s

Yes it should help spool time . I'm not sure how much it depends on the setup. I've always used 2 1/4 and mostly 2 1/2 on my 76mm and s480 I'm sure 2 inch will help on that 5.3.

I did 2.5" on my 5.3. Wish i would have gone 2.25" in hindsight.

After reading all of that 2" would be my pick for under 1000hp.

On my 347 with a 76mm with a 1.58 a/r we are trying 2.25 to see how well it works. We also kept equal length from manifold to turbo from each side.
