Just read your entire build thread, very cool car! Those wheels look awesome and I really like how you have everything setup.

Is that a MightyMouse catch can?

Thanks! That's a lot of reading yes it is a MM can. If I had to do it again I would have spent the money on routing the CC pressure/blow by though the exhuast though.

Yeah your thread is starting to get up there at 14 pages, but a good read for sure. Do you say that for simplicity's sake?

Yes and it's a hell of a lot cheaper. I've been seeing a lot more cars setup like this lately.

You talking about the venturi hook ups in the exhaust are cheaper than a catch can?

No just the valves. I've never priced a Venturi. The Venturi is probably a good idea but I've seen plenty of setups working great without it.

I don't understand. There are tons of people who are running the S13 240sx rear ends and making tons of power with them in completely stock form. Those only have 29 spline input shafts. If you are running the R230, those have like 31 or 32 spline. But, the input shaft splines aren't the part that normally breaks anyways. Either way, it sounds like you already have a pretty stout rear end. I wouldn't count it out of the running so easily.

I have the 88 300zx R200 with 29 spline, I'm putting down 792 ft/lbs with no problems.

I think they are 35 a piece for the stainless versions with -10 provisions. Supposed to pull 3" of vacuum in the crank case.

I have the R200 VLSD. The input shafts do fail, seen it. I'm not saying the R200 can't take the abuse I'm just saying the 8.8 is a better/stronger option. For my intended use of the car I'm sure it will be fine, that's why I left it in place.

Half the price of a MM can.. And much less crap in an already cluttered engine bay.

I'm going to bust *** Saturday and get the boost solonoid/wastegates done, mess with the brakes and get an alignment. Sunday morning I have a remote tunning session scheduled with "losls2" he is going to show me the ropes and get my tune ready for some street pulls. My guess is early to mid November before we see some full boost pulls.

Between my Noobness on such a massive undertaking/pregnant wife/65hr work week and General fear of destroying what I've worked almost a year to build. I'm in no rush.

Completely understand that! If I was that deep into my build while my wife was pregnant she would shoot me!
