manifold was a bit restrictive but it allowed it all to tuck under a stock hood

quite the sleeper thing wouldn't hook at all and it twisted and contorted but it was extremely fast on top end and a hell of a ride always

now for sure I'd build a turbo ls motor

I'm thinking of a 4.8 iron block build to try out some nice gt35s

That is just crazy.. I could imagine your lack of traction with that much power down low. A lot of people argued with me about the ease of a supercharger vs. Turbo but It was a no brainier to try and get the power higher in the RPM range (turbo) due to the weight and tire size constriction..

Boost is the only way to go in a setup like this. In my particular case a little lag probably wouldn't be a bad thing. With two turbos though I doubt that will happen.

I was thinking along the same lines when I bought mine, but I have to admit that superchargers are really nice for daily driving. My motor sits back in the firewall a bit and between that and the 4 linked rear it hooks up very well, even on the street. It will over power the drag radials if you get on it too bad, but you can let off slightly and then get back into it almost instantly. It needs more power on top(only about 470 rwhp) but runs low to mid 10's at 130. I've been reading up as much as I can before I start on a new motor, but a 2.9L Whipple on a medium sized LS with decent heads running about 15psi instead of the 5-6psi I see with this MP112 ought to scoot.

Is that 4 lug up front? Are you using stock ball joints and control arm? Or did you up grade to something different. Looking good.

Stock 30+ year old ball joints and control arms. They are in good shape and I don't really see a need for the adjustable ones as im not tracking it. I do however have TTT rear LCA's as I needed a way to adjust toe.

Would probably look alright, I'm just a fan of the sleek look
I kinda like the factory look. You see setups that you would swear came in the car from oem. I like that look.
Car is coming out great. I been debating changing mine from black to white. I will probably end up Mat Black

Thanks for the replies. I have a friend that is going to do them basically for free so I figure why not. I'm still not sure what color to do.. I really think white would be badass but I'm afraid I'm going to have to much PC under the hood after it's all said and done

Well my goal was to get the turbos mounted (mirrored) but these manifolds took a lot longer than I imagined and the hot side piping is going to be a nightmare. I'm going to end up with some pretty nasty angles in order to get the turbos the way I want them.. Oh well.

I had to move the lower radiator support a full 3" to make room for the filters and turbo. By next weekend I should have them mounted or at least close to it.

Also got the cross bars back from powder coat
