you'll multiply all your fuel tables by a factor to get it close for methanol and then tune from there.

when you click on conversion in the base fuel table, what ve numbers are you seeing for e85

The ecu doesnt care what fuel you are using.

"Learn" can only take you so far. Obviously you need a sensible base map and setup first.

Although make sure they offer a wideband compatible with methanol.

There NTK Sensor is fine and good to go... BMF Comes to mind on his setup, dominator, single, methanol, and there are a few others on bullet. Get there good NTK sensor.

I'm gonna run the holley also and plan on using atomizer 225 injectors. If you're changing to larger size injectors and higher than stock fuel pressure, say I go with a 50psi base pressure, how is this gonna affect setting the fuel tables up to get it up and going. I know meth is about double but it seems like it'd be really rich even at stock fuel table settings??

you tell the holley what fuel pressure you are running and what size the injectors are and it controls the injectors so the lb/hr fuel flow is realized.

Cool, thanks. It seems like you could just take the base tune and double it to get a good base tune for cranking then, right?

if you have a engine running on gas, increasing the fuel table 100% will get you close enough and it will run on Methanol. Anyone know what the ratio is from Gas to E85? or E85 to Methanol?

If his is running on E85 now, its really just adjusting per this ratio (and fuel type in the main table along with new AFR tagets for Meth) and it should be close enough for learning to start doing its work.

I'm using them injectors as well Alan from billet atomizer told me if I turn base fuel pressure up to 70-80 psi I can make 1300-1400 flywheel which should be enought to make my goals 1000rwhp..

Mech injection has given methanol the bad rep of milky oil. Overly rich conditions cause the milky oil. With EFI and a good tune this should not be a big issue. Will you change your oil more often than gas, yes but it will not be terrible with a good tune.

As far as usage, it will use twice the fuel as gas or 70% more fuel than E85 at WOT, slightly less % at a cruise.
