Default 1000HP Turbo Car?

2002 Stock WS6 M6.

Now this is just an idea for my goal. So just give me input from your experience and knowledge.

Basically I wanna copy Flash's build for this except I have a manual. Don't know if its possible to have a 1000HP manual car and still be street able.

I wanna keep the car looking and sounding as close to stock as possible to make an evil Sleeper for the guys in Pullied Cobras and Built Imports.

Not sure how much a forged internal factory LS1 will hold. I'm not sure if I have the LS6 block. But I plan on getting a Dana S60 rear. 3" driveshaft. Level 3+ Rebuilt T56. Stage 5+ clutch. Forged internal 347 LS1/LS6 block. Meth? 90mm Turbo (Bigger?). Stock or close to stock exhaust from the Y back. Adjustable boost levels for driving around town and violating everything on the street. Roll cage hidden behind pillars.

Again this is an idea. Not fully thought up just throwing it out there.

Stock gen 3 rotating assembly can probably get pretty close to 4 digits at the flywheel but its pretty much a gamble every time you mash the pedal. There are 800+ whp LS1 guys on here, but lots of people have taken apart their gen 3 block even though it still ran to find bent rods above 600whp.

Forged LS1s can handle 1000whp. I'd say the block and the crank will probably top out around 1200hp and become a serious concern.

A billet 76 will get you 4 digits. Sure you can go with a GT91, but even an out-of-the-box S475 ($700) is rated to 1000 flywheel.

I dont think flash has a forged ls1? Its an lsx block I believe

do not go with a huge turbo cause its not needed. Good rods and pistons, billet 76 or cast 80mm with properly matched turbine will make tge numbers and be efficient

Well, it all depends on how you interpret the the word "streetable". My t56 car with a mild cam and a fairly quiet true dual exhaust system makes it a very streetable 1k+ rwhp car, by the way...it still have the factory a/c. Here's a short clip when I had it on the dyno last summer.

Flash's car is by no means a stock block forged build. He has a stock ci LSX block, All Pro heads, aftermarket computer system, etc. He has a lot more money in the setup than most people realize. I'll point him towards this thread and let him explain if he wants.

As for 1k hp and a T56, I am in the middle of my build right now. Forged 370ci iron block, BW Billet S480 et-r ho turbo, viper t56 and a 9in out back. Car should make 1k to the wheels turned up and be very streetable out of boost...

Im pushing an all the way through stock ls1 with a tick cam to the 800ish mark on pump gas/meth. Like stated its a gamble. Going for a little dyno logging today at tick to see how far we can push it. Makes me a little nervous though. Id forge the pistons and rods and leave the crank alone to the 1100ish mark if I were gonna do it. My plans for my 5.3 awaiting in the shop is this plus an upgraded 84mm billet v3 turbo.

Callie's rods wiseco pistons stock crank and stud it ..and if u want friendly 6 speed with 1000whp I would go with a set of twins like s366's..spend ur money on a good fuel system that and tune is what will make the number and keep it safe

A home made dual 3" with a pair of 4" magnaflow straight-through mufflers. This system got rid of that typical crackling sound that you normally get from any aftermarket 4th gen single exhaust system.

Check out my build. Twin turbo, true duals, stock radiator, ac, fusebox everything under the good looks stock except for the catch can/evap system. Guys think it's a can car. I have driven in 100+° stopped and slow traffic ac on car does not EVER climb higher water temp wise than stock. We and the old lady go out to eat it doesn't matter it acts like stock appears stock.

Yes it does and has a good tone (to me) to it...I was going crazy of how every exhaust sounded to much muscle old school sound if you know what I mean lol...I was planning on waiting till somebody will try to get of rid some corsa xtreme a from a c6 an put them on my Fbody lol that or some xr1 but those 4" mufflers do make a difference
