Nice to see someone close by with ls powered g body
I hope to some day build my malibu...
But anyway what carb are u going with?
IMO If u are thinking about getting a used blowthru carb.. Just get a new one
Seen to many ppl on here an the bullet get a used one an have nothing but a headache with them. end up putting the same amount of money in it they could have just got a new one.

the build is coming along, itll be running before you know it.
I see you found theturboforums , lots of blowthrough guys on there. Look at everything you can find about home made boost referenced Powervalves. And get yourself a pin vice, and a numbered drill set, that way you can do some custom tuning yourself.
An O2 sensor is going to be your BEST FREIND!!!!
The custom made Blowthrough carbs are expensive, but they save ALOT of work getting the carb tuned in.

you need the vent tube extensions, AND you may need BRPV's. the vent tube extensions ensure that the fuel bowls are 'seeing' the boost pressure and still flow fuel into the engine, and the BRPV's will allow you to have a lean enough A/F at part throttle cruising and regular driving yet still have enough fuel enrichment for WOT and into boost.
I honestly beleive you should save for a proper 'blowthrough' carb.
2 or 3 bar map is easy, just buy a sensor, and plug it into your MSD6010, then in the setup window on the MSD software, select which sensor you have.
I recommend getting a GM3Bar sensor - http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...sor-p-161.html
and the matching pigtail - http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...ail-p-163.html
edit: to use this 3 bar senso you need to splice the pigtail into the msd map sensor wires, as the plugs are different - not a big deal.
If you need, I can help you with a MAP timing curve when the time comes.
