This is probably a stupid question but I needed to know. Do all the truck 6.0's from 2002-2006 use a spacer before the flexplate? I think mine needs one because we are getting some spark and you can see where it rubs gently. I don't remember taking a spacer off of it though. Regardless, I think I am going to need to put one on while we have the transmission (PG) out but wanted to learn something.

no, some have a flywheel that bowed to take up the space...

Okay. My flexplate is bowed. It looked like it was just touching part of the block so I was worried I missed something. Stationary it is no where near the block but I guess under boost when its flexing it must have just scrapped it a couple times. Thanks.
