Default Power brake boost and trans modulator etc - under boost

What happens with these things under boost? I think the brake booster has a check valve, but not sure its strong enough to resist boost. What about the trans modulator?

Your brake booster should have a check valve in it so that it only sees vaccum. Not sure about a trans modulator. It Should at least be able to see atmospheric pressure as that is how it is designed to work

My brake booster worked fine only thing that sucks is staging the car as I loose vacuum and get into boost I start to loose some breaking power. I also have a th400 that uses only vac and would not shift under boost a tbrake manual valve body fixed that but I'm sure you can find a check ball

I have no idea what happened with my car. nor do I really understand how a vacuum boost works, but I can tell you.

When I would take my car out for hard pulls.. The booster would get filled with boost and GET STUCK. Driving home from work a couple times, the brakes would just lock up, I had to pull over and unplug the booster line.

Never figured it out. Going to manual brakes.

Same question about the vac modulator. I'll pink jake shoe an see what he says. You might just post this in the trans section as well.
I have manual brakes.

I did search, and interestingly one solution for the modulator is to install a T inline with a check valve, then the boost is vented out. Yes, a boost leak but evidently its such a small amount that it doesn't really matter.
