Default intake........

Gathering parts for my turbod 5.3, need some help picking an intake, the truck Manny just isn't pretty enough. Anyone recommend the eld pro flow or Vic Jr? Or should I just settle for a used ls1. Price isnt reallly a factor just want what's gonna work best.

I'd get a ls1 for cheap or use a truck intake . But if you got money to spend victor jr And elbow works nice . But I'd use a stock intake you can't go wrong .

If any one manifold worked better than the others in every situation then nobody would buy anything else. Some will offer more torque, some more power. Some a better price, and some better fitment. Pretty much all of the aftermarket intakes are going to outflow any of the stock intakes.

Truck intake has been dyno tested to make more power and torque than the stock LS1 manifold.

Thanks for the replys, I love the looks of the black eld pro flow was just worried might not be best choice for a smaller cube 5.3 boosted motor. And didn't know if it would clear a stock nova hood. Thanks you guys rock.

I guess I should have said I do have a small L88 style cowl hood though not a stock hood. Even still the closest part to the hood is at the front just behind the throttle body.
