Default Whats a good inexpensive twin turbo kit?

I'm thinking about adding a single or twin turbo kit to my 408 stroker build. Anyone have any suggestions on what kit to buy? Looking for something inexpensive but reliable. Thanks in advance.

We have a production twin hot side kit that mounts a pair of T4 flanged turbos up high and center in the engine bay which is priced very well! Might be worth checking out: http://shop.huronspeedproducts.com/9...-Kit-tthot.htm

I'm thinking $2000 should be good. It doesn't have to be new. Would like to know which name brands to stay away from. If that's not enough then I guess I might go with some nitrous. This is not going to be a daily driver.

I appreciate the positive comments that was helpful. The rest of the jokers should've keep there comments to themselves. 2000 was a starting price due to me not knowing about forced induction.

If you would read the sticky at the top of the forum you would know. It will tell you all you need to know about how much it will cost. A FI setup is not something you just decide to do without studying. Anyways, it is one of the most expensive routes as far as modding our lovelies.

so cheap, twin turbo, a kit....and no mention of what that kit needs to fit ?

If you check through Denmah's stuff, there is no doubt systems can be built on a tight budget. But you need to be doing the work yourself.. And space available will make a huge difference as to how many hours labour are involved to make it happen

Yeah, FI is expensive, and honestly, doing a twin turbo setup is more expensive than a F-series procharger once you get into having to do a different k-member, and all of the fabricating and moving of stuff to get it to work right. Then you have to worry about proper oiling issues and underhood heat, and fabricating exhaust etc etc etc... it's definitely not an adventure I'd take lightly.

id have to go back and look at my receipts, but im pretty sure i have about $5-$6k in my twin turbo setup that was built in my garage. that includes, hot/cold piping, k-member, power steering lines, IC, turbos, gates, radiator, etc. basically everything to make it work. Somewhere in there.. i started with a budget of $12,000, my car will be done next month, and ill be right at $25,000 in this build. Do you have to spend that much? No. But i wanted it to be nice looking, and work. thats a new motor, new tranny, twin kit, new fuel system, etc.. good luck
