Default Boosted LQ4 piston Ring Gap?

Im boosting an lq4. Should i increase my piston ring gaps? Any links or tips from people who have dealt with this would be appreciated.

.025 to .030" is what we always used, pending on HP level.

Yea he is about right. E85 will take a lot tighter than pump gas as well. Most of the time a 80-100k mile engine will be about right for E85 but on gas it could still be a little tight for really high boost.

Thats what i figured. Gonna be a lot of horsepower i need those rings to not bind up at all. Did you just open the gap up and shave it down with a file?
