Default 402 build.. want to go turbo but keep ac

ok looking for turbo kits that will alot me to keep a/c and run at least a T4 precision billet 76mm and still make decent power on my 402. What options are out there? This is a street car and probably hit the track twice a year. Other than that it is basically a hwy brawler.

Is it worth it or should i just go d1 procharger kit(really dont want to lol).

Wanted to do the TTIX twin kit but when i talked to george today he said they will only do them IN house now;( which kind of messed up my plans lol.

He said their single kit is only good for 600hp the intercooler cant take anymore and alos there flex tube isnt decide for me to wouldnt reccomend bigger than a turbonetics 76mm.

You might consider a rear mount setup. Depending on your skills you may be able to do a custom setup yourself, or farm out the piping to a local muffler shop. A discussion about this just popped up.... here:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...negatives.html

There's also a lot of other build threads out there on rear mount setups...

Love keeping my AC! It gets hot here in Vegas too, like Texas I'm sure.

You might also want to check with On3 Performance. I don't remember if they finished their setup yet that keeps AC. I think you have to replace the K-member as well with their kit.

They're on here too.

Since you weere willing to spend the money there ^ check out CBR Performance. They have the cleanest, best fitting, least hacking on the car twin kit out period. No moving fuse box or battery or radiator or anything. Check out my build thread below.

I called and spoke with Rob a few days ago, with cash in hand. They are not making the kit anymore, I practically begged him.

I am looking high and low for an AC turbo kit.

Huron Speed makes a kit now and its a great bolt on kit. They are also great with customer service. I would highly recommend using them. I just ordered my second turbo from them and they are great guys.

I seen that. But is anybody making nice.power with the huron a/c kit? This is going on a 402 so want a kit that only limiting factor will it being a t4 and the 3in down pipe. Do they still have any aps twin kits floating around and i will just swap out the turbos? Any body running good times with the huron a/c kit?

Talk to turbo joe at straightline performance. He might be able to get you lined out with a good kit.

Jon over at Huron speed can build you a kit for whatever you want. Or do what I'm doing and make your own kit. I bought a t4 kit but I'm doing a 408. So I bought a turbo for my goals with a t6 housing.I'm ditching the 3" down pipe for a 4". Keeping a/c and going turbo is pricey. Ask me how I know. The APS kits are great and great quality but hard to come by and pricey. Your gonna be better off having someone make you a kit for what you want or build your own.

No numbers on the first set up because I never got it running. Motor plans have changed 3 times so has everything else. I'm still in the process of gathering up the last of the parts for my car to finish it up now.

Well, that's a shame that they're not making their twin kit anymore. But like 87silverbullet said, Turbo Joe @ Straightline Performance should be able to take care of you.

Ahhh. Gotcha. That sucks. Good luck with next project though. These things always take twice as long and cost 3 times as much to finish, don't they. LOL
