Default help me turbo my 370

Alright so I decided to pass on a car and build my 370 motor. It's a LQ4 bored .030 over.

Need heads thinking LSAs
Intake choice perhaps the L76
Cam most likely custom grind
Turbo kit is the big one need it to fit f body
Injector choice
MAF tune or SD
pistons

My budget is roughly 6K
do you guys think i can build a running motor with that?
Not looking to make 600hp just to get me on par with gt500s

A lot more than 600 HP can be made on 6k. That's my entire LS swap budget in my 69 Nova including gas tank, radiator, and transmission and I should be making 650 to the wheels when I'm done.

If you have a complete long block, run what you have now for heads and intake. If you only want 600 flywheel HP, it can be done on mostly stock parts with almost no changes. This includes the stock cam. Hot Rod magazine made 550 flywheel on a bone stock 5.3 at just 12 pounds on an eBay turbo. You should be able to hit 600 flywheel on a stock 6.0 at roughly the same boost level.

Get some 80 lb injectors and a 3 bar map off of eBay and run as SD tune on the stock motor. For a budget kit look at Huron Speed or On3.

So far all I have is a LQ4 block 30 over, double timing chain, stock crank, ported LS6 oil pump scat I beam 6.125 rods and speed pro 4.030 pistons and a 99 waiting for its motor. Just curious how complete are these on3 kits? Would I have to run a scavenge pump?

Do some more research on your own, most of the information you asked about is common and easily found out. Not to sound harsh, but you're kinda asking to be spoon fed..

i'd rather be spoon fed and lead in the right direction than make a mistake or buy the wrong parts for my build. i've done numerous searches and hell i cant even find out what the cast number is for LSA heads none the less this magical website were they sell for 220 a set or as a single one. all i know is i have the money to do it so i want to do it right and be cost effective.

You're not going to find LSA heads (12626958) for that price from a retail vendor. You used to be able to get L92 heads for that price but it's been a while. For what you're doing the best bang for the buck will be a set of 317 heads with a valve job and new springs.
