Default Size and restrictions running S375.

So I am trying to decide between Borg Warner's S375 and a Precision 7675. The reliability and price of the S375 really can't be matched for what you get. But the housing on the BW units are HUGE, and I am concerned about placement and lack of space under the hood of my Formula. I want to keep my AC, and will be adding an intercooler.

I might be off though because most of the BW setups I have seen are the the S4XX series which maybe have a larger housing? Basically I would like to know if there really is a size difference between the PT7675 and the S375. If there isn't, the choice will be easy. If there is, I may have to go the PT7675 route.

If anyone has pictures of either of these setups under the hood, I would love to see them.

Starting at the top left, two S200's, two S300's, and a PT7675.

What's the largest exhaust wheel available for the S300 series? 71mm inducer? That's about the same size exhaust wheel as a On3 series.

There's no such thing as a S375. What people call a s375 is simply a T4 S475. And yes, it's much larger than a 7675.

I noticed that, based off of Forced Inductions site the largest they offer is a S366.

The 300 "chassis" has lots of different inducer sizes avail. 60, 62, 66, 72, 74, 76, 80.

The housings get bigger with the wheel size, they don't just stuff a 76 wheel in the same housing as the 66.

Yeah, I know it's the housing and not the turbo. Just trying to see how much of a difference size wise between the two.

Your buddy with the 2nd gen who has a large engine bay really barely made his BW fit. I'm concerned about it squeezing under the hood of my Formula with the factory AC and FMIC.

He has an s475. But yes bw turbos are generally large in size. You can google the dimensions or call a dealer and find the info.
