thanks everyone,
we are running around 8-10 for now
should be taking it out to the first mud event this weekend, might have to change the gearing in the transfer case and get some more wheel speed

ok back after the first time out with the truck, did good but seems to be building a lot of crank pressure, blew the dip stick out, the valve cover gaskets, and maybe intake gaskets

not sure if facebook video works but heres a link

Looks fun! What are the cam grind specs?

Before changing gears I'd try turning the boost up. The difference between 8 and 13lbs on my 5.3 was nutty. (same turbo). Stopped seeing massive gains around 17psi.

Pretty wicked man!

What's your ring gap set at? Are you using the turbo with a catch can to try and pull crank case pressure?

not 100% on the ring gap, and yes have a catch can, think we are going to see if i messed up anything with the motor and put bigger breathers on the valve covers
my motor guy think the intake temperature got to hot and might of hurt something

finally got the video uploaded

Yeah, looks like at the end of the video you might have hurt something. Looks like it's a hot rod though!

I'm surprised to see you say that about the IATs. Aren't you running an A/W inner cooler? Is it to small or did you run out of ice and water?

the intercooler was almost to hot to touch, we ran out of ice in the cooler, going to pull the datalog when i get it cleaned up and back to the shop and see what everything was. hopefully its something simple and we dont have to pull the motor back out
