Default Procharged IAT temp change- issues

Hi,

I have an recent issue with IAT temps with my Pontiac G8.

427 LSX iron block
Ls7 MAst black label heads
Procharger F1d----( 17-19 psi)
Procharger 3 core air-air intercooler

Issue was I was getting 190 degree temps on dyno at high boost and then went down to 100 immediately after run...

CHANGED: AIR-AIR INTERCOOLER to Procharger 1300hp bigger

Improved IAT to 120-125F.. so no issues.... happy but then had engine rebuilt over winter (dont ask me why engine was rebuilt...thought it was hurt a bit.... but still putting down 860rwhp....) ).......

Now IAT=190F under full boost......

ONLY CHANGES:
Engine rebuid included upgrading rockers from stock to Jesel shaft mounted, new pushrods, new pistons, new comp short travel lifters, cleaned up bore, new rings, etc... all the normal stuff replaced.... CAM stayed the same!

so could a engine rebuild effect the IAT temps somehow.... if engine was not built right.... ie... pushrods not right length?... lifters not right?... other?...

The other items that stayed the same:
same dyno
same ambient temps
double checked the IAT sensors and replaced... no difference...
same type runs,
same fan blowing on intercooler... same distance away, same direction and position
checked intercooler and procharger and tubes for blockages... none found

Thoughts?..... can engine rebuild effect IATs?.... (note: IAT sensor is about 5 inches away from throttlebody and mounted in pipe.... and then MAF is about 3-4 inches from that....

QUEStIOn... how could IAT change even though nothing in Air path has changed?..

Big issue is that this temp is pulling a bunch of timing and dropping me down about 50-60rwhp......

Not much thoughts on this thread.. ,..

ended out figuring out after 3 air temp sensors that 2 were bad... third was the charm....

also found out on the engine rebuild they used the 1.7 ratio versus the 1.8 rocker I had in it before the rebuild..... makes a huge differencee..... so all is good now!!!!!
