Default F1c head unit bracket question

Hello guys I just purchased an 08 regular cab silverado i already have the Procharger system for the truck with the D1sc head unit. With that said I want to replace the unit with the F1c. Can I still use the stock brackets that came with the system? Or do I need to purchase a diff bracket set up? If so where would be a good place to purchase one?

f1-x would be fine on the street as long as you could find something to hold it. Schoneck Composites makes a cog bracket for f body that will hold it. the F1-C is still an 8 sec capable blower in the right combo. strauss goes 7's with his F1R and a glide.

Not sure on how much the d1sc are going for? Make me an offer. As for the F1-x that sounds like a great blower but like you said if I can find a bracket.

What is your engine combination? An F-1A on a 408 can make 18 to 20 psi which is all an aftermarket set of four bolt heads can handle. An F-1C takes a little more power to turn it than an F-1A, although it wouldn't be worked as hard at 18 to 20 psi. I wouldn't try running anything larger than an F-1A with the stock 6 rib bracket assembly. If you have a six bolt block and head combo then you could handle an F-1X but you're going to need a cog bracket. Bob

As of now I'll be running a 416 ls3 short block with TSP LS7 small bore heads with a Holley high ram and NW 102mm tb. Although I have a LSX 427 being built.

The ProCharger Transplant cog bracket assembly is probably your best way to go. No belt slippage and you could start with an F-1C, and upgrade to a larger head unit down the road. Bob

It's a type b from my understanding. Intake side is towards the headers.
