Anybody know of good ways to clean out the inside of a LS6 intake? Mine is full of grime and it has slowed my progress today. Also, Im thinking she will be running either in the car or out of the car this weekend! hold me to it. Thanks everybody for the compliments so far.

Yea I soaked it in some mean green for a few hours but it couldn't dissolve all the really thick stuff. but man some thick chunks came out. I ran out of brake and carb cleaner. I was also thinking of soaking it in diesel or gas? Anyway should have the intake and exhaust manifolds on today

Wow! That is so cool. Awesome work, I can't wait to see and hear this beast in action!
On the stock injectors, 5 lbs will easily bring them to 100% duty cycle. I ran the stock injectors on my turbo 5.3 and at 6 lbs of boost the duty cycle exceeded 100% and A/F started getting very lean!
Like others have suggested I would leave the gates wide open so you don't do any damage.
I can't wait for videos!

Thanks for all the reply's! Heres an update on the exhaust. not sure if i mentioned it here. The tail lights are very thin so i could modify them to include the outlets of the turbos... BUT i don't want to permanently alter real ferrari tail lights so I'm going to make my own.. I think.
Heres where it is now! I was hoping to have it running but COLD COLD weather set in.
Im hoping to TIG this stuff up at school... pretty sick of my flux welds from my Hobart 125ez! lol

I know its big, but could there be room for the C5 or C6 6-speed transaxle?
Those seem to hold a decent amount of power for the $$. I'd think you could eliminate the torque tube without too much difficulty, just need a bell-housing/adapter and clutch mechanism of some sort
