Default F1-A Iron 370 Cooling Question

On my old setup (Heads/cam ls1) I ran a FAST 102 with coolant blockoffs on the rear of the head. Would I be able to run the block offs safely with a Iron block and boost or should I explore other options to setup the crossover in the rear with a FAST 102?

If your climate allows, I've always had fantastic luck with Water Wetter (or similar product), instead of traditional coolant.

just run a crossover. any additional benefit is a plus. blocking off something that releases heat from the motor on a motor that sees more heat than usual may not be beneficial. you can make your own or buy a pre made setup.

I'd probably stick with with the steam ports. Even if they don't help your cooling issue, they do benefit by keeping hot spots out of the heads. Run straight water or with water wetter. Water cools better than antifreeze.

In the small event it is gonna freeze in el paso, just drain it and leave the cap off over night. However, it'll be awhile before you have to worry about that again. Its warming up!

There are plenty of coolant crossover options. They dont need to run under the intake.
