Default CTSV Twin Turbo build # 2!

Thought you guys would want to see this!
---
SNL Performance just beat our previous record last night on our second TT CTSV setup!

The drivability and horsepower on this car is absolutely fantastic thanks to James Karger from Calibrated by Karger, it's not much different than a heads/cam package on the factory setup.

"At a glance" mod list -
  • LME Built 427
  • MAST Black Label LS7 Heads
  • LME Cam
  • Wilson Billet Intake
  • SNL Performance Twin Turbo w/ Air to Water Intercooler option (no hacking on the car, utilizes upgraded heat exchanger and a separate/larger tank in the rear) and Comp 6768 Oil Less Turbos
  • Fore Innovations Triple In Tank Pump w/ID2000 Injectors
  • Century Built 4L80E
  • Circle D Converter
  • Pump E85, no meth, and no nitrous!
The car put down 1,391 rwhp and 1,311 rwtq SAE corrected -

1,444 rwhp and 1,361 rwtq STD corrected -

Indeed! No bottles to fill, no meth to worry about, just fill it up and enjoy.

2 down, 4 to go!

Pat's will be coming in a couple of weeks, just finishing the direct port setup, etc.

It's all hidden.

Here is a video that shows the underside -

ROFL! It's got decent compression, and yes, the spool time is pretty fun. We actually had to back it off a bit to keep from blowing through the tires.

Hehe... yep, just a small cold air intake setup... nothing major.

Here's the car in the original post going for a cruise...

This is on the 1180 rwhp setting, anything more with these tires and even the progressive boost controller couldn't keep it straight.

Thanks!

Boost Leash c02.

Century... it's going to RPM when he gets back to upgrade it to the most it can possibly be done, we were experiencing some slippage when trying to push past where we were. Sad part is, the car can make another ~150 rwhp on boost where it sits.

WOW Another 150rwhp when do you think those turbos will max out?
I'm planning to run Comp 7275 turbos .84a/r on 408 or 427ci I'm now thinking 1600rwhp is possible with manual trans 25-28psi.

I wouldn't do those turbos... no need as these are 6768's and they hit full boost around 4000 rpm and have another 150 rwhp in them before they're maxed out.

The next V we're doing should make north of 1,600 rwhp - it's going to be the sickest car we've built to date.
