+1 would like to know this as well. I'm most likely going to run two bosch 044 pumps for E85 on my stock 4.8 with a 76mm.

Your car is running great, it will be even better soon!

Getting closer to my 5.99 elusive goal.
Oh yeah broke the factory ring and pinion gears a week ago, put new Richmond Gears in. Same 3.42 ratio.
Drove it 45 miles and went to the track later that day. Same launch settings that broke my stock gears.

Nice 60!

However i'm confused on how it's not going quicker then that?

I'm assuming you fixed the valve float issue?

Yeah the valve float is fixed. I leave at 20 taper in the boost to 24 withing 0.4 seconds and then at 4 seconds take it back down to 22. The car is hooking good but at the 2 second mark into the run its not pulling the way it should. I will soon have my drive shift sensor installed so I can get a better idea of what's going on.
I don't know what the car weights but guessing 3900

It has a PTC converter in it. Once I finish installing my drive shaft sensor then we will have some more info to figure this thing out. Like actual converter slip, if the tires are spinning... where the slope (rate of change) of the drive shift speed is tapering off. Just not enough enough time in my days.

Thats Fancy! Can't you guess with the quick slippage calculator?

Exactly!

The 60ft shows the power is there, however it should go a bit faster then 111mph in the 1/8th......

Your slip calculator says around 25%. In a couple weeks when I get the drive shift sensor mounted
that can be verified. I know I need to rev the motor faster to tighten up the converter. Shifted out of first gear at 6950 2nd to 3rd at 6500 way too early and put the motor down to 6000 through the traps.
I headed out to the track tomorrow for some more testing. I will be concerned with shift points more tomorrow and not so much with the tune up.

Just for comparison my 9.5" PTC converter spec'd by dusty has less than 6% slippage at 5800 rpm @ 122 in the 1/8th... I sure wasn't busting out 1.1x 60's though!

Here in the near future, my CNC plasma cutting business will be going. I have been designing and making parts for my self and friends for years. I can do 3/8 thick steel 23 by 13 cnc table axis. But soon will have my new plasma for 7/8" thick steel and a table for full sheets to do multiple parts at once.

how are you figuring this?

my calc says

3.25 gear
29" tire
5800 rpm
122mph

is 26.25% slip
