Can HP tuners /EFI live change pulse ring count in the ECU

Default Can HP tuners /EFI live change pulse ring count in the ECU

I might need to Change the pulse count in the ECU to match the new transfer-case pulse ring ( if that's whats its called)and want to know if its possible to do with either HP tuners or EFI live.

You could possibly do it by changing the rear gear in the ECU. Like going from a 16 tooth to 10 tooth per rotation which is a 37.5% reduction. Not too sure though.

Yes you can. T56s I believe are 17 tooth, and the automatics are 40 tooth.

yep you guys are correct on that it is possible to change the pulse count to match what you have. my problem is i found out i didn't even have a pulse ring! LOL so i ordered a transfer-case adapter from advanced adapters that comes with a pulse ring and sensor.
