Pt88 4" down pipe out the passenger bumper. Wondering what fender exit guys are doing with the gate?

I have a 60mm gate and originally wanted to route it back into the down pipe to keep all the exhaust one tone. It's a street car/weekend warrior build.

What are the pros and cons of routing it back into the down pipe using the fender exit? Trying to decide if it's worth the extra bends and and hassle to tie it back in.

Atmosphere. IMO with a downpipe that short it will sound like wastegates opening to atmosphere when they open up either way.

Mine pipe back into the exhaust. It's personal preference I guess. I think it's a little louder with the gate vented to atmosphere.

I figured at that point that it wouldn't matter lol. I wouldn't think it would make much of a difference since the down pipe is so short anyways. Just my thoughts on it. I don't have bumper exits though so take it for what its worth.

just dump it to atmosphere. no point hooking it back into exhaust unless your doing full exhaust.

Vented mine back into downpipe. Ill probably on my next build just let it go unless I feel froggy.
