Well guys it's finally running. Got a first start up video for you. Gotta get the hood pin in, bleed the breaks and get an alignment and it'll be ready to be driven.

Here's another video with a little bit of revving in it. Sorry the video quality sucks all we had were cell phones. Also if you click the video and it opens the link to a white screen hit the full screen button and you'll be able to see it.

Dude you are THE MAN! Haha I absolutely love your project. I was just wondering yesterday whether it was possible to do a front mounted T6 like that and retain AC and then I stumble on this beast of a build. Awesome. It's amazing the amount of time you've done this in... would take me a couple years. I really would like to do something similar and am going to try pick up a 6.0 in the next few weeks here to start. Been thinking T6 408 but don't know for sure with the fab work and stuff involved and the fact that this will be mostly diy in my garage and I've never done a project of this magnitude. Tend to error on the side of overkill usually though. My goal is the same as yours, keep ac, full interior, etc. I was wondering how much clearance you have for the turbo from your accessory drive and radiator... hard to tell but looks really close. Although it shouldn't move with that brace...

Thanks man I really appreciate it. it took some planning but really you just have to go for it. This was my first major build. I have never done something with so much fabrication work before in my life. I was so nervous especially making that first cut and knowing there was no going back. My whole hotside was made out of two stainless j/u bends, one for each side and then the 5" pipe for the downpipe. Obviously the flexes, v-bands and manifolds. Between my turbo and accessories there is probably 1/2" and between the turbo and radiator is maybe an inch or so. There isn't enough room for a blanket but I ceramic coated and heat wrapped everything. I also had to make my radiator hoses out of -20 which isn't cheap but they look nice and it was the only way to do it especially the lower hose with the down pipe being right there. I still need to have the a/c lines made but that may wait till I get the bugs worked out and just so I can enjoy the car for the summer. Everything is there for it though so it wont be bad.

When you getting it to the track?
This is what I want, a 408 with an 88mm and a 4l80e, with AC, stereo, etc. And I wanna go 8s.

Curious if you've totalled up what you have in it so far too.

No track times yet. I don't have a cage yet so that's holding me back. However I just sold my 6060 and bought a 4l80e to put in it. If all goes well it'll see the track mid September. I'll get the boot I'm sure but that's okay. I'll probably have the A/c lines made this winter before next summer since summer is almost over.

I probably will have 25k in it or so after everything. Maybe a bit more but I haven't fully sat down. And added everything up. Kinda scared to haha.

So decided to go auto with the car. Sold my 6060 and I'm in the process of finishing up the swap now. Just waiting on the tranny to be done at the builders.

Waiting to see results!

Funny you have the (near) same radio as myself: Kenwood BT-901, I have one in both my vehicles because it is the only one that works with my Zunes .

Hopefully have some dyno numbers and a few track times here in the next up coming weeks. I don't have much longer before the track up here in Denver closes and also with no cage it'll most likely be a one and done pass.

80 swap complete besides driveshaft and fluid. Hopefully that'll be tomorrow then the tuner can get on dialing this beast in. I made my own tranny cross member and it seems to be working good. Used the stock t-56 one and cut it up. Hopefully the next update on here will be dyno numbers and some track videos.

Little update on the car. Got to the track finally and only got one pass before getting booted. Leaving on 0lbs of boost and having to peddle 2nd to 3rd because the car didn't want to shift the car ended up running 10.9 at 139. Definitely happy with the mph. Once the suspension is dialed in all the safety stuff is in and I get a transbrake in it hope to see low 9's out of the car. Also I did weight the car. Full tank of gas with me is 3985. That's no cage yet or the rest of the safety equipment. Should be a 4,100 lb street beast when done!

Nice! How much boost are you running by the top end?

At the top end we're seeing 16.5 to 17.5 lbs of boost. Lost my log from the track but that's about where it was at. That's also what we've seen during tuning as well.

Well I'm sad to say that my car has been wrecked. Unfortunately the insurance company is totaling it so I'll be buying it back and putting it in a roller. The car guys worst nightmare. This was at a local street outlaws even in Colorado.

Well I lost control and the road was pretty narrow so there was no room to correct. The car went into a field and that was okay till I could see a burm ahead. I hit the burm went airborn over the ditch and then the car landed and went about another 20-30 feet and stopped.

Here's the new car! Full SOM low miles with near perfect interior. It's currently at the cage shop and once it gets back the full Drivetrain out of the blue car will be transplanted along with some new goodies!

Awesome man! I am in FL now but grew up in CO and raced at Bandimere (the heart breaker) for years. I was wondering whatever happened to you after the crash. Keep this thread moving, don't give up!
