Alright so what I'm needing to know is if this will work. I'm not overly experienced with turbo applications... Yet. I've got an 07 classic 1500 crew cab shortbox silverado with a cammed lq9 in it and a built 4l80e. I recently upgraded the turbo in my supra and rebuilt the stock one and I want to put it on my truck mostly just as a cheap, turbo learning experience. I have oil lines,flanges, and fittings, as well as intake tubing and connectors. What I'm wondering is I have pacesetter longtubes with 3" collectors and y-pipe. If I put the turbo in at the y-pipe would I have back pressure problems? It has and internal wastgate and I could maybe add a second external? It's a really small turbo. It's a toyota ct26 which I believe is a 46mm and something like a .50 a/r. Any recommendations?

Thats waay too smal of a turbo for that 6.0. I wouldnt use anything less than a 70mm on it even for a remote mount like your wanting.

That's what I figured. I've got no problem buying a different turbo just curious if that one could work. What kind of a/r should I be looking for?

The smallest I would go is a .96

If you want to try something on the cheap just get a GT45 off ebay
