2.5". I always use 2.5" vbands on manifolds. They just fit better. I used 2.5 piping cause I had it lying around lol.

Put the hood back on and dusted it off. Trying to stay motivated. Ordered my Bell A2A Intercooler core last week. Pics to come when I get the tanks figured out.

Intercooler core came in. Flows over 3000 cfm.

Now to design my tanks lol. Shouldn't have any issues with iats since I have direct air flow to it.

Also redoing the entire front of the car. All the weight out, tubing it all lol. Just starting the process now. Shock towers will be mostly gone. Fenders will be gone.

What a great build. Fab work on the shock towers looks Awesome. I really like how you did the small tubing on top of the apron. Are you retaining the stock fender bolt locations?

Yes I am. I used 3/4 .083 wall tubing and laid it in the channel that runs down the top there. I welded it in spots between the stock fender mounting holes to the existing inner fender. Also the metal is layered there so I melted in the layers in several spots because I was afraid with all the sawing they would separate. After I welded that all up I attached the two 3/4 bars to the tower bar to brace the fender. Then I cut out the excess. Leaving the stock bolt tabs in place. Goal is to cut it all out but build it before cutting that way I don't have to locate anything because im not moving it.

Thanks guys. I plan to make a bolt on front support that houses radiator/intercooler assembly and supports bumper cover. No sure how that will turn out lol. Got to finish the intercooler and get radiator/fans finished to know how I will mount it all.

One step closer! Can't wait to see the finished product, too bad I can't get a ride in it though, would be a blast.
