WHICH TO GET AND WHY?

FOR A STREET STRIP CAR THAT WILL BE DRIVEN EVERYWHERE

STOCK 5.3 BOTTOM END
STOCK 706 HEADS WITH 1218 SPRINGS
TU1 CAM 228/228, LIft is .571/.571, and is on a 112LSA
HURON SPEED TURBO KIT
LS6 INTAKE 3BAR MAP SENSOR STOCK T.B

BUILT TH400 ON THE BRAKE WITH PTC TURBO STALL (SPEC FOR THIS BUILD)

3.23 GEARED ON 26" TIRES

TWIN PUMPS ON 93 AND METH

1/4 MILE CAR AND YES STREET DRIVEN.

Both t4 flanges

trim 69mm with 1.05 a/r 3.5v band outlet 77mm exducer turbine outlet 4"

Trim 80mm magnum 1.15a/r 4" turbine outlet with 3.5 vband 77mm exducer

What are the turbo specs? It's hard to give an opinion with only 20% of the info. There's a lot more to a turbo than the inducer size.

The 69 will make approx 600whp on 15psi. At least those "GT45's" have good sized turbine wheels. Id go with the cheaper 69. Id guess it will make enough to push the limits of the shortblock.

Go with the 80mm otherwise youll run out of steam before 6000 rpm

Stock bottom end - do you want to bend a rod or fail a bearing?

One is going to make you more torque limited one more power limited

Havent fired it up yet. the cam is a tick custom
The engine is stock with ls6 intake and tooley springs.
hopefully 700rwhp

@A-Low...thanks for the response. I would be interested in your results as well as I am currently in a long and slow drawn out 5.3 turbo build myself but have not chosen a cam or turbo. Have very similar specs as yours in front of a T56 and looking for a similar power goal. Have been eye balling the GT45 76mm and 80mm as well as the BW S472.
