This thing is beyond tight, lots of trimming still to do but she is getting there. Treadstone inter cooler and piping seem to be good quality.

Treadstone I see. Keep trimming. It will fit!

That looks really good Ron, did you bolt the flanges from the intercooler directly to the radiator supports existing material or did you make something up?

I had to make some extensions. My rad is huge and I had enlarged the opening. But the extensions bolt right through the core support.

I used the same one Stock48 did. They have larger now, but I don't think it would have fit.

Had a productive day, cut the **** out of the front of the car. Going to get after the intercooler piping tomorrow, I might need a different degree bend then I have for the lower but we'll see.

Looks like a good start to a great build! Did you make a temp bracket to hold the turbo where it is now or is that a permanent mount location that you are going to plumb to?

What part number is that intercooler? I am thinking of ordering a TRV259 from Ebay that is Overall Size 26.50" X 15.00" X 3.50" and Core Size 25.00" X 9.00" X 3.50"

That is already mounted on the manifold in the pic. It's a KB Racing log manifold so the turbo sits right on it. It's a trv25 I believe.

Ah ok, I couldn't see anything in the pictures.

I see that cooler on Ebay too. Just a little smaller than the TRV259 I think. I was just trying to get an idea of the size. Thank you

Finally got some more parts in, so first was getting the waste gate fitted. This is pretty much the only spot using the KB manifold in a Nova to run it. I would have liked it up the bend a little more but hopefully it can control boost good.

the dump tube in progress.

Great looking car and fast progress. I was making some good progress on mine until I decided to redo the entire suspension on the car.

I'm excited to see how this turns out. Turbo LS novas seem to have some major luck on their side when it seems to getting that power down the track.

Thanks man, the car worked great with 550ish hp getting down track but I'm curious to see if a couple hundred more HP will upset it or not.

Also for future reference I picked up a 99 1500 throttle cable and with just putting a small slot in the nova pedal for the cable, it worked perfect.

Haven't been able to get anything done lately, been on 12 hour shifts at work but I wrapped and installed the crossover tonight. It fits great considering it was designed for a truck, good ground clearance as well.

Hopefully my line and fittings show up this week so I can get after the fuel system.

Got the down pipe mocked up, still needs finish welding but it's 4" and fits great with about 1/2" clearance all around. My plan is to run it back over the axle like stock but it's very tight back there so we'll see.

looking great-who makes those headers, does the D/S loop down under to the other side
I used some cast alumn. bends and welded them on my I/C'er to help make some tight bends-just an option to rubber bends
prob the same I/C'er Ron has, I used that on my chevelle, actually worked good, intake temps were reasonable given the lack of direct airflow
starting another project (nova, lol) but slow getting off the ground
my budget 6.0 flamed out with the rusty cyls, so either get another engine or bore this one-then pistons, rings, balancing, it just keeps going, lol
keep posting pics

The manifold is made by KB Racing, it uses the stock truck manifold on the drivers side and crosses under converter to passenger log as shown above.
