No cut out, and no muffler for now. If it sounds like an old worn out schoolbus I'll have to make a muffler to fit it.

4" mufflers that aren't made for a truck are kinda hard to come by. I'm gonna run 4" back to a cutout and then reduce it down to 3" after the cutout.

Thanks, it fits really good also I'm definitely happy with it. I already bought the Holley and I wish I did more research first because I bought it just from a retail source so I have no startup tune to help make my ignorance of EFI easier to get going.

I totally understand. My nova was the first efi build I've ever done in a car that dint already have factory efi. It honestly wasent that bad and went pretty smoothly. I can tell you the learn feature in the holley makes it 100% worth the money for some one who has no tuning experience. When you get to that point in you build I can email you my base tune and it should help you out a lot.

Well I'm down to the trans cooler (on order) and wiring now.
My first question is what to do with the alternator wiring. It's from an 05 silverado the high amp model with a two prong plug on top and the post on back. I have the holley HP & harness if that makes any difference. Thanks for any insight on this, Joe.

I "think" all you need is to hook up the post.

I read about that but it said it was only putting out ~13.8, is that enough to run all these electronics?

This is how I did mine. The brown wire is the original alternator wire for the car. The red runs from the alternator post to the starter. My car holds 13.5 while running with no issues

Just been working on the wiring mostly but I made a gauge panel up and made this little plate where the reverse light was for the shutoff.

My goal is to have it up and driving by the end of August
