I need to check and see if I still have my man card because this thing really had me intimidated last night. Track let me make two passes without a cage. I really wanted to get a few clean ones so I rolled out(no boost) and didn't really lay into it until I was positive it was hooked up.

10.4@144 this was on about 16psi. I haven't reviewed the logs yet.

10.4 @ 144 rolling into it? Lol, that thing is making some steam! Easily deep into the 8s if you can leave with a little boost and hook.

Leaf spring/QA1/adjustable parts. Its how I bought it. Don't know a ton about the setup to be honest.

Was out practicing some footbrake launches tonight. Completely different animal.

Went back out tonight. Was happy with the pass it made so didn't make anymore and just watched with friends. Went 9.9 first pass then 9.4. I will go back in a few weeks and try the trans brake or more boost on the footbrake and see where I end up.

I forgot to post but in the last few weeks I added a moly cage! I need to grab pics.

So I was sneaking up on the launch but after the 9.4 I decided to drive the car home in one piece. Vid says 40mi but to my house its closer to 70 each way.

That 1.6 was on a 4-5psi launch on the footbrake. I think I can make around 8psi on it. Next track outing I will try 8psi footbrake and maybe a few * of timing. At the track I do 5gal 93+ 5gal of C12. 9.4 was 13* and 19psi.

Anyhow end of season I will go and chase an 8 sec pass. Luckily the track owner also owns a towing company.

Thanks man.

This is my first fast auto car. Im having a hard time breaking the habit of shifting early even though I have a shift light. In the above pass I shifter at 5800 and the 9.9 pass I shifted at 5300. You glide guys think im giving up much time doing so? Id have to assume I am hurting the mph/et some.

not as much as you might think.. but great car.. you will probably be better shifting around 6400 I would guess.. I don't know your cam..
