Default Help Building Turbo LSx FC Rx7 (LS Noob)

What's up LS1Tech, I recently joined to build my knowledge in the LSx/GM world mainly because I've been into imports my whole life. I have been searching for a power plant that would be reasonably priced to build for a weekend warrior/Racecar. I looked up 2JZ-GTE, RB25/RB26 and even the 13b-REW but a fell short either being hard to source parts or just ridiculously expensive to build. I read a build thread on import meet.com where the gentlemen bought was going through the same dilemma and ultimately chose the LSx route. At first I felt I was betraying my inner importself but couldn't resist to do research.

After doing a little reason I've seen that for FI one of the best blocks to go with is the LQ4/LQ9. While doing research I also came across that the 317heads and/or L92 heads with a turbo cam would do justice. I really want to go for the traditional LSx intake look so had looked up possible heads.

My ultimate budget for this build is roughly $10k spread out through the next off season in hopes to make 750rwhp. I am also going to prep the RX7 with ford 9" rear and suspension along with the T56 6spd Transmission.

Any insight or guidance for me as a noob is greatly appreciated.

How much do you think roughly the build would cost?

Or what power could I get with that budget

i would first get the swap done and running and see where your budget is. Possibly due valvetrain mods first go around, but $10k for full swap, turbo, t56 and 9" is a tough one.

If he can do the work himself he absolutely can. I will be around 6k with my TT Ls1 RX7-but this is with a stock Tii rear end.

I forgot to mention my FC Rx7 is a S4 TII is this rear any good and would it hold up for the amount of power? If so that would cutout $2-3k on having a rear done.

I had 1000 into my very clean 91 roller and home made ford 8.8 mustang rear axle swap.
