Well, I ran into a few hiccups but the car's running. I had to buy a second HP Tuners cable, as I couldn't get mine to see the interface after a full week of tweaking Windows settings.... Oh well I guess, at least now I can record my logs without the laptop sliding around the car lol.
I had to disassemble my new Magnafuel pump as I must have picked up a piece of debris between the inlet filter and pump. Got that taken care of now. I bet it's twice as loud as the A1000 pump I had before.

I was actually pretty amazed, I modded the tune a little, set the base fuel pressure, and turned the key, and it actually fired right up lol. I was almost expecting something bad to happen lol. Now to go do some VE and idle tuning and get the break in miles taken care of. I talked a bit with Hellbents10 and I'll hopefully be calling them to set up an appointment to tune it here in a week or two.

Im also looking for around your goals as well but wanted as quick of spool as possible for that power level anda single turbo, i think i met it, will be turning the boost up to see what itll max out at here soon, but i think youll reach 875 or so on 15lbs.. atleast... great build so far man love the car

Thanks guys, I'm pretty excited about it. Its been way too long since it's been on the road. I definitely wanna get back into some of the local car shows and cruises. Once I get some new gears and a converter, and new harnesses, I'll post some time slips lol.

What fuel were you running at 13.5 lbs? Did you have a meth injection kit or just straight fuel? Sounds like a healthy fun car

Welcome
Not too much happening with the car right now, just enjoying it and taking it out to shows when time allows. Tuning is done, but anything over 650ish hp, and it's flashing thru the converter. So that's on my short list to get taken care of. Still 650 is plenty fun
Did have some issues with the Derale fan wiring but it's squared away now.

What did you do with your fuse boxes? Did you just drop them straight down and hide them or did you relocate to the firewall?

I drilled a 1 1/2" hole way back by the cowl, and cut and extended the harness. I built a new mounting box for them and mounted them directly under where they used to be.

If you get a chance can you post up some pics of what you just described? Thanks!

pump 93 and of course an alky meth kit, with dual nozzles, its very healthy haha and fun as well, im makin over 900 to wheel on 18-19lbs, here soon ima see if i can get any more boost out of it, just gotta put more co2 to the gate to keep it closed. (by the way, i still have a/c )
Im interested to see what kinda power you make once you get the converter issue fixed!

Just a little follow up on the fan/fuse issues I had. I ended up replacing both Derale fuse holders and replaced them with 40A auto-reset circuit breakers. But I've found that one of my Derale fans is much noisier than the other and spinning slower. That sucks, as I've only got maybe 500ish miles and some dyno pulls on the setup...
I know Derale 16925's are the preferred fan for so many of these FI builds, but at this point, I'm REALLY not impressed with them.

Oh well, at least it's still drivable. Hope everyone elses projects are going well
