Twin 38mm gates off of each bank would be nice.

I went with twin 40mm JGS wastegates on my camaro and same on the mustang. A single 60mm with good flow from each bank would also probably work as mentioned above.

2 gates are almost always better than 1 IMO. 1 Tial 60mm in the correct position should control it just fine tho.

Post a picture of the wastegate location on the kit currently. What is the size of the flange? What will the lowest boost you will run?

IMO, the location looks terrible. Right where the two pipes merge, the wastegate tube is right there. I've always read that the wastegate should be put 'in line' with the each bank(s) for maximum control.

I mounted mine right at the merge underneath the turbine housing. JGS 50mm and it does exactly what i ask it to. When mounting in "non-ideal" locations, going big on the wastegate is a good idea, also, you may be more sensitive to boost creep when you start running out of turbine

Sounds good. Another member offered to sell me a JGS 60. I think it should work fine. Is there a preference in Brands, I spent a lot of money on this build, I'd like to ensure the gate is made by a reputable company. Thanks guys.

if its any help i have done a S480 on two 6.0 powered cars with single 60mm china gates, and on my fairmont 3 that went 9.68@145 ~780whp

had a single s476r, twin 2 inch hotside divided to the turbo, running a EMUSA 38 and a WYNTYNN 38mm both 2 bolt china gates, and i could easily swing 6-20lbs of boost with my tru boost

denmah, I've seen about every build you've done and I'm very impressed, but I've never built something this expensive or extensive. I'd feel more comfortable using a name brand honestly. You're the only member on tech that posts info on those China gates... I'd love to hear other member's thoughts. They obviously work for you lol

NIB? For the tial 60?

I have a 370 with an s475 and run twin 38mm tials. No boost issues whatsoever and it's an m6 car. i have only ran 11 and 15 psi though. No creep no spikes. They open dump right to the ground.
