If you want to stay in a tight budget, lots of people have used the LS6 cam with good results.
Or you could get a custom grind from one of the sponsors here, I've herd good things about Martin @ Tick performance. There are many more that could give you a good cam. Or just get an off the shelf cam, I'm leaning toward the stage 1 turbo cam from Tick. On3 78/75 on a ls1.

All depends on budget...spec'd is always the best option, they go for around $400...people will recommend the LS6 but for what guys are asking for them nowadays it int worth it...a few years back you couldnt give them away. I know you can pick up a LS9 cam for around a 100 bucks and I know a few guys that jumped to that from the LS6 and said it was a whole new animal.

Depends on the rest of the setup and what you want to do with the car. My car was faster, quiter and better on fuel with the stock L33 cam in it. No transbrake, 3.08 gears and a fairly tight converter, it just wouldn't get out of the hole very well. Not suggesting the stocker but without more info it's hard to give you an answer.

Which camshaft you need will be directly related to the parts you choose to use in your build.

Once you have a solid game plan with everything chosen but the camshaft, then you can give one of the site sponsors such as our shop a call for a camshaft package.

We sell what I like to call our basic "all in one" package for 965.00 dollars and free shipping.

It includes a custom camshaft, BTR Platinum dual springs with steel retainers, locators, locks, valve stem seals, 5/16" .080" chromoly push rods, LS2 timing chain, LS6 ported oil pump and all the required gaskets and bolts needed to swap the camshaft.
