Question Turbo + Nitrous + Meth Injection

Who all is doing it?

My dry kit will be in Friday and I'm anxious to see how well the 50 shot performs.

From the articles I've read it seems like no timing retard is needed for the nitrous since the methanol would prevent the possibility of knock.

Im curious if the same is true about the fuel side of the tune. My tune is richened up currently so I'm curious if most guys even change anything in the tune when spraying a dry shot on top of the meth injection.

With a 50 shot, guess it just depends on how rich your current tuneup is. I've seen NA guys run a 50 dry shot and not do anything because the computer will make the necessary fueling adjustments.

Only if you're spraying through a MAF. Most people here are SD

True. I guess then it depends on how rich the tune-up is. May want to richen it up a tad more to be safe.

Also depends where you are spraying the N20. If you are SD and end up cooling the IAT sensor it will add fuel to compensate. I use a plate kit so that doesn't happen.

ive done it on a few setups to help spool a turbo before i started getting better converters and anti lag setups in my cars.

it all depends on what you are doing, and how much of each item you are using.

spraying to light the turbo? spraying the whole way down the track? pump fuel?

etc etc etc

Spraying before turbo or after (before IAT sensor) tuning speed density you shouldn't need to do anything. Especially with 50 shot. I've heard some running as high as 150 shot. With C16 of course. But pump, meth and 50 shot spraying before IAT should be fine. Now first time trying it out I'd recommend using 50/50 mix of pump and race to make sure. Then wing it off and watch for knock. That's what I did.
