Wastegate flex tubing
My length of tubing from the wastegate to the downpipe is short, about 5 inches on one side, and about 2 inches on the other gate. Its also tying into the down pipe right at the beginning of the DP near the exhaust housing. So does it really need flex pipe there? Should I extend the length in order to run a flex pipe?

I only put flex pipes on for when it's a pain to put the exhaust on and off. If you can easily bolt and unbolt your DP and WG pipe then don't run on. My DP and WG pipes make a Y, and it was a pain to get the vbands lined up because of the angles, so I had to add one.
I didn't run one before on my crossover even, then when it came time to assemble everything for the last time I realized I didn't have header gaskets on when mocking up...flex pipe was added after I couldn't get the vbands lined up with gaskets on the headers, BLAH.
