Default S480 6.0 with serious converter slip help

Just wondering what converter you guys are running making 1000 or more rwhp and how much slippage are you seeing? I'm looking to get something new with very little slip I run a th400 seeing around 38% slip. I know this might not be the transmission section but this is a turbo car with turbo car problems. Any info would be greatly appreciated

A 9.5 PTC will give you single digit slip numbers, because of my altitude (Denver CO) they spec'd a 10in for me. I had %34 previously and first pass showed %14 on the new converter, made the car a whole new animal on the street. All that nice turbo torque was pushing through the converter and never using it.

What converter size are you currently running?

A 9.5 PTC will achieve single digit slip numbers but will out spool any other converter in that same range. Easy spool, locks up hard.

Something in it must be broken. It's hard to have that much slip even if your using something like a small 8" converter. I use the 9.5 PTC with great results.
