Default SBE LY6 with On3 7665 goes mid 8s

We put together a Notch over the last yr with nothing but some budget parts as for motor and the turbo parts

we weighed this car without driver but as it would make a pass minus some fuel. with 7 gallons of fuel in car she weighed in at 3160
i weigh 205 lbs and we had 12 gallons of fuel in car.....she was around 3400lbs on these passes

heres a few shots of the car during the rental

few feet out and she powered the front left up

she backed her 8.65 with a 8.69

Nice work! How is spoolup on the street? How many miles were on the motor and what was the original gap on the rings?

Very nice pass. Cars looks well put together. Love seeing SBE cars going 9's 8's is just crazy!!

On a side note, Was that Jeff lutz's 57 in the back round of the first pic?

Yeah he was testing the evil twin and his son was learning to drive the beast. He is from outside of Pittsburgh not OKC.

6800 isnt much, spun a 4.8 yrs ago to 7600 for shifts and was making power that high

this combo has been spun 7500 before with the 373s when it trapped 160

this motor is also a strong rod

Thanks. Also has the good rods, and 3.73 with a 30" tire.
I'm still on 15 psi.
