Stock Bottom LS1 makes 800+ hp/tq
Finally got the car back to my tuner after being down all year. Put a TR6060, Mcleod RXT, 3 bar MAP, FIC 127s and dual Walbro 340's in for this go around.
Car started at 600+ years ago, moved to 700+ for last year and is now 800+.
It was hot as hell saturday (over 90 degrees). I was going for 850ish but i chickened out. Turbo isnt picking up as much HP at higher boost so i think i'd really have to get some boost out of it to hit that number and ive got to upgrade the charging system on the car big time. I knew it was lacking but i guess i underestimated how bad it really was (9-10V under city conditions). The 2 hour drive back home started to get into my head and may have kept me from turning it up more too No trailer here!
As always, Brian at Dynotune Motorsports deserves all the credit for the tune and keeping this thing alive. I always walk out of that place smarter than I walked in! Big thanks to the guys who helped out as well.
I had to really crank on my MBC to get it to 20psi, ill get my AMS-500 in the car and see what happens. his obviously means turning it up more in spring haha. I just want to have fun with it for the rest of the year since i havent had it all summer.
Yes the car hooks too, 2nd and 3rd did not spin when i tried it out on the way home.

Its been over 600hp for 3 years. It spent all of last summer around 750whp, and i just turned it up again this year. Only made about 5 pull all out pulls after the tune on saturday but there are some races coming up and ill be hitting the track soon so we'll find out soon enough. I did turn it down to 18-19lbs, although on cooler nights i know its going to be making more 800 even with less boost. Conditions were not favorable for making power on saturday

Very nice! How many miles on your bottom end? Heads? Cam? Looked to be a slight bit of turbo lag bc it wasn't as an aggressive dyno pull with other cars on the dyno doing the same. Or maybe just bc you were far away. I love how there are couches and a lunch break area right next to the fenced off dyno haha.

He starts the pull really low in the rpms so thats why there seems to be lag but i can tell you that on the street, there is virtually none. It spools very quickly.
He's always got people hanging out, its a fun place haha
If i put my big boy pants on during a cooler night i think we could push it past 850 relatively easily with a better boost controller.. Ill go for it again in spring if the car is still alive
Thanks!

Thanks!
Its still through a 3" downpipe. Its not very long though, my turbo sits in front of the waterpump and the downpipe ends next to the starter right over the kmember, its maybe 3ft in total length, if that. No idea on BP

Ive avoided it all these years since it still had the stock trans, a used clutch that i picked up for like $300, and small tires. Im proud of the way all that stuff held together though! I wanted to hit the track this year and thats why i finally bit the bullet on the upgrades.

Thanks!
Im from the Cleveland area, I live up in Michigan for work . I keep the car in Cleveland in though since i dont have anywhere to store it up here.
Glad it helped someone out haha
Dual 340s, they are step up from the 255's. Lonnies performance did the pumps, so im not sure what brand they actually are.
I started in the same boat. H/C/I would've cost more compared to the first turbo edition of the car. So glad i went turbo, A LOT more room to grow for much less money.
All i hope is that it lasts through a solid track outing or two and a few weekends of racing. Ive got some people i've been waiting to run all summer!
I've got a full rotating assembly ready to rock, just cant bring myself to spend then money when this has been so fun to push.
